Urban Mall, a leading retail and lifestyle destination in South Jakarta, was facing rising electricity bills due to increasing energy demand from air conditioning, lighting, escalators, and tenant operations.
As a business committed to modern standards and environmental responsibility, the management aimed to reduce its operating costs and environmental footprint—without disrupting mall operations or compromising customer experience.
Solarize conducted a comprehensive site and energy audit, analyzing the mall’s daily load profile, rooftop structure, and grid connection. We then proposed a tailored rooftop solar solution that could generate clean energy during peak daylight hours—when the mall’s energy demand is at its highest.
We designed and installed a 320 kWp grid-tied rooftop solar system using high-efficiency solar panels and smart inverters. Installation was completed in just 10 weeks, with close coordination between our engineering team and mall facility managers. Smart monitoring tools were integrated to give real-time energy performance insights and long-term savings tracking.
